‘Palabras ajenas’ (The words of others) is a collage made of hundreds of texts made by artist Leon Ferrari between 1965 and 1967. This collection of written material has violence, war, political power and religion as the central topics.
Nacho Cabrera designed a performance where Ferrari’s texts where complemented with recent text about wars in Ukraine, Sahara, Iraq, etc.
In this production, I created a system along Nacho Cabrera to organize and keep track of a 6 hours long performance, an absolute challenge for any stage manager. Also, I designed the sounds effects and also the music that you could hear at some moments during the performance.
